21 Jan 1965 - Accepted into USAF from OnMark Engineering Company at Van Nuys, CA [1]
22 Jan 1965 - Assigned to 1st Air Commando Wing at Eglin AFB.[1]
17 Dec 1965 - 1st Air Commando Wing moved from Eglin AFB to England AFB.[1]
10 May 1966 - Designation changed from B-26K to A-26A while with the 1st Air Commando Wing at England AFB. [2]
11 Jun 1966 - Sent to Nakhon Phanom Air Base. Assigned to 603rd Air Commando Squadron - Detachment 1, attached to 606th Air Commando Squadron [2]Participated in Operation Steel Tiger.
NOTE: Baugher and others incorrectly list this date as Aug 1966.
22 Feb 1967 - Lost in action. [3] Shot down by AA while strafing a convoy near Ban Thapachon in southern Laos. Plane made it back to Nakhon Phanom but starboard wing began to burn and crew bailed out. The crew survived and were picked up by helicopter.
