The Invader Historical Foundation is proud to be the sponsor agency for the Aviation History Research Network.

What is the AHRN?

The Aviation History Research Network is a fellowship of dedicated and passionate aviation history researchers. The main purpose of the ARHN is:

  • To promote and support best practices in historical research techniques among members
  • To share resources, documents, and expertise among members
  • To share skills and information among members
  • To coordinate research efforts so that duplicate work is avoided
  • To investigate how technology may be used in realm of historical research
  • To mentor and guide new members who wish to pursue historical research
  • To provide public education about our areas of study

Individual Members

Individual members are associated with the organizations who are direct members of the Aviation History Research Network, or they may be honorary members who have been granted status with the Network based on their contributions to the field.

All researchers on this list are competent and capable researchers, and this list is in no way reflective of their abilities, but rather it is a measure of their involvement and contributions to the Network directly.

Senior Researchers have a deep invested interest in the success of the AHRN and have contributed significantly to its success, either by contributing documents, material, financial resources, or other material of significant importance. This may include white papers, guidebooks and written information, or other documents of a research-related focus.

Member Researchers have a long history with the AHRN members at large and have contributed information and ideas on an as-needed basis. They are willing to help and assist where they can.

Associate Researchers are those who have a new relationship with the Network and have simply not yet invested enough time or resources to be counted among the more senior members. They are a very welcome addition to the Network, and we hope that they will become the future of our group.
