History

VU-7 was called the "Tallyhoers".
In 1950 the squadron was based out of Barber's Point.
In 1961 the squadron was based out of Brown Field, CA.
31 Mar 1961 the squadron moved to San Diego Naval Air Station.
28 Feb 1962 the squadron moved to North Island.
