Missions
22 Feb 1967 - Captain Robert L. Sholl and Captain Dwight Campbell were lost on a mission just east of Nakhon Phanom RTAFB on 21-22 Feb 1967 after trailing home a burning A-26A, giving that crew the warning that saved their lives. The aircraft engine caught fire, forcing the two crewmen of the burning plane to exit the aircraft which then exploded, sending debris into the plane of Campbell and Sholl killing them.
