Invader Squadrons
Many of these units have long and storied histories. With few exceptions, most of these units started with planes other than the A-26 Invader and then switched over to the Invader. In the interest of clarity, most of the information presented here is focused on the Invader. Other general information and history may be added at a later date.
Information on these units includes plane identification markings, base locations, commanders, periods of operation, and a plane roster (pieced together from photographic records).
This list is by no means comprehensive as it does not include Training Units, Base Units, or Air National Guard units that flew the Invader at this time. We plan on adding that information later, but we wanted to start with the combat squadrons.
