I bought this plane from Noble Knight Games. I was looking for an Invader in a small scale like this for use in tabletop gaming. The ad showed a completed Invader and said "6 pieces", so I assumed it was 6 complete planes. This was not the case. It's 1 plane that comes in 6 pieces that you have to assemble. I don't hold any fault to GHQ over that because it wasn't their ad, but I did want to mention it in case others are considering this model and not sure what to expect.


As for the model itself goes, this one is pewter and is highly detailed and highly accurate. The cockpit has the correct, irregular shape, and the guns are properly positioned. There is some fine panel lines molded into the model as well and the detail in the engine is excellent. The lines are crisp and clear and I was thoroughly impressed with the model's quality.
