Davis-Monthan Air Force Base is located in Tucson, Arizona. They are most famous for the large aircraft "Boneyard" that is housed on the south end of the base where hundreds of planes sit, waiting to be scrapped, sold, or pressed back into service. That unit has gone by several names over the years, but the unit is currently called AMARG - the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group. It used to be the Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center (AMARC).
