This patch is something of an enigma. I picked it up relatively inexpensively on Ebay. I bought it because it was very clearly Invader related, but I had never seen it before. The seller did not know anything about it. The patch looks like this:

This patch is clearly not a military patch. My initial guess, based on the few details that I have, is that it was produced by a movie company. I tried searching for movies about this, but I have come up short. There is not a major movie house called Harmony Pictures. If the company still exists, they do not have a website or Facebook page that I am able to locate.

I was able to track down a 2006 article from Variety magazine that had a clue. The article's main focus is that actors Micky Dolenz and Stuart Gross are teaming up to start a film distribution company called "Independent Entertainment". A footnote at the end of the article says:

"TV commercial industry vet Gross is the founder of shingle Harmony Pictures as well as the production outfit Random/Order Information and Entertainment."

Thus far, this has been the only reference to a company called Harmony Pictures that I have been able to find. I assume that this outfit is an independent movie company, and they may have been doing a project on the Invader, but I am not able to find a digital footprint of that. My next step is to try to track down Mr. Gross or an associate of his and inquire further.
