	~~The production of the Invader began first at the Long Beach plant. The solid-nosed B was actually the first off the production line (~~[[~~41-39100]]). The first of five~~ A-26B-1-DL Invaders appeared in September of 1943. As compared with the prototype, the A-26B had an increased bomb load (6000 pounds) and higher internal fuel capacity of 1600 US gallons. The powerplants were housed in slightly revised nacelles and drove three-bladed propellers without spinners.
