Operational History

This plane was assigned to the 669th Bombardment Squadron, 416th Bombardment Group during November 1944. It began participating in combat missions immediately thereafter.

  • Mission # 159 - November 17, 1944, Friday PM Hageunau, France - Supply Depot

Accidents

  • 02 JAN 1945 - This plane crashed on Take-off due to inclement weather while stationed at Melun Field (A-55). The pilot that day was Hiram B. Clark, who survived the crash. The plane was still attached to the 669th Bomb Squadron at the time.
