I&#039;ve long been consumed with questions about &quot;where do we come from?&quot; both on a personal level and as a species. My early years of genealogical study were fraught with high ambition and little wisdom, which resulted in a mess of results that I didn&#039;t have much evidence to support. Between that fact, and my family tree file being corrupted due to many upgrades over the years I decided that starting over completely from scratch would be faster and easier than trying to fix the broken tree and find all of the sources. So that&#039;s what I&#039;ve been doing, working on rebuilding everything with meticulous source details and documents. </ins></div></td></tr> <tr><td colspan="2" class="diff-side-deleted"></td><td class="diff-marker" data-marker="+"></td><td style="color: #202122; font-size: 88%; border-style: solid; border-width: 1px 1px 1px 4px; border-radius: 0.33em; border-color: #a3d3ff; vertical-align: top; white-space: pre-wrap;"><div> </div></td></tr> <tr><td colspan="2" class="diff-side-deleted"></td><td class="diff-marker" data-marker="+"></td><td style="color: #202122; font-size: 88%; border-style: solid; border-width: 1px 1px 1px 4px; border-radius: 0.33em; border-color: #a3d3ff; vertical-align: top; white-space: pre-wrap;"><div><ins style="font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;">I first learned about genetic genealogy circa 2003 when Dr. Alex Waldrop reached to me to be part of his study.
